This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved mother, Barbara Albre, 95, born on July 10th, 1926. She passed away peacefully on May 26th, 2022 surrounded by her two daughters. We will lovingly remember her forever as the strong and independent woman that she wanted to be.
What a fun and delightful woman Bobbi was, I worked with her at the French Library and she was a wonderful support putting together Bastille Day Celebrations and parties, bringin donors who supplied champagne and many friends to dance the night away.
Dear Debby and Sheri ,I remember your mom from the old days at Strathmore Rd. Brookline. I hope the memories of her give you comfort in the days ahead . Kind Regards , John Morin
Dear Mom,
Happy Birthday today. It would have been your 96th. I was fortunate to have spent your 95th with you, and the last couple of months up to May 26 with you as well. You taught me how to stay positive and strong during those last few days and what bravery means. I love you.
Hello Mom,
In memory of you this year, I celebrated a Mother’s Day you would have loved and wished we could have been there together. I soon realized that you actually were with me in spirit, listening to a live Mozart concert in Vienna and singing along to parts of The Magic Flute with the performers, and humming along to Verdi’s Four Seasons
It’s the third anniversary of your passing and I still have your alter alive with the spirit of you, my mother. Even though you are no longer here in person, you are very much a part of me in so many ways. I miss you every day.
Happy Birthday, Mom.
Today, you would have been 99 years young, but I feel you are happier today where you are now!
I took a vacation last month that I wish we could have done together. You would have really enjoyed it, but as it turned out, you were with me in everything I did, and in all the new places I visited. Still missing you~
