Gus had a heart of gold and a mind for action. He produced, along with Dave Clark, a photo book about the Santa Cruz Harbor to benefit O'Neill Sea Odyssey, which teaches science and environmental concepts to youth on board a sailing catamaran. He promoted projects and always had ideas. His loss leaves a big void, unlikely to be filled.
