As a member of the J.R. Tucker Class of '66, I shared many classes with Art, and I admired his humor, his dedication, and his good will toward his classmates. After a long separation, I was fortunate to re-unite with him at our 50th class reunion in 2016 and was glad to see that he was still the same man I had so admired. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends.
I remember Artie. I looked up his picture in the Witness for 1965. He signed it and I remember h im as always successful in everything he did. I'm sure he'll be missed. goodbye Artie.
I had the privilege of working for and with Art at Virginia Power as a training and development professional from 1984 to1995, when I left the company. Art was the epitome of getting things done right and getting them right the first time! One earned Art's trust by doing, not with your rhetoric. I was glad that I knew Art and had opportunities to meet corporate challenges with him.
My deepest sympathies to the Friedman family . As a fellow graduate from Tucker HS, class of 1966, I too have fond memories from that time in my life. Please know that you are being remembered with kindness and compassion . Eugene A Goldberg
