My sincere condolences. Bud was a friend and mentor on numerous projects in Alaska. I was looking forward to spending time with him, I just returned back to Alaska. Him and his dad Larry played a great role in my career. They will be greatly missed.

I knew Bud through volunteering for Engineers Week. Almost a year ago to the day, he helped run the entire E-Week banquet on short notice. I always enjoyed our conversations and he will be greatly missed by his colleagues and peers. I was so sorry to hear of his passing and wish I could have attended his Celebration of Life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I worked for Bud at a local engineering company for several years.  I went to many meetings where he had to keep people calm and on track. He was able to do this with a commanding presence which  was never overbearing and most especially with a very good sense of humor and reference to a story or personal experience. I remember his smile and when I do, I smile, too.
