Captain I had the priviliage of being a new Recruit in the BFD Academy when you ran it, you & the Lieutenants were truly an inspiration and represented the real Boston Fire culture, throughout my career I thought of you, You could size up competency intuitively . You experienced the greatest & most tumultuous era , you are a real Captain & Leader, a great Fireman who had a great life.
