Generous. Funny. Creative. Strong. Smart. Attentive. Our dear friend Annelise loved music especially Ella Fitzgerald, The Beatles and the Sitka Summer Music Festival. Annelise loved to travel, explore and discover. She loved her kitties. Annelise was a phenomenal quilter and gardener. We will miss her big heart, her enormous hospitality and her endearing friendship.
I love you Annelise!
I thought and will always believe that you are the most kind, generous and capable woman (person) that I have ever and will ever know. You were a wonderful boss and the best friend I ever could hope to have had. Thank you Annelise for making my life more!
What a truly amazing woman, I was blessed to have worked for in the airline industry. She always made us feel welcomed at work and in her home. If we gathered at Jen's restaurant, she opened wine (and kept it coming!) and fed us all on the house. Sad we couldn't keep in touch over the years but I always thought about the good ole days at the airport! (see my story)
Annelise was my dear friend and I miss her. She loved to quilt, spoil her cats, travel, read, garden, and entertain her friends with great food, wine and conversation. On Christmas Eve she passionately shared her Danish traditions, such as lit candles on the tree. She was generous, strong, intelligent, perceptive, kind, resilient, fun, funny and refreshingly direct. She is unforgettable.
My wife & I have celebrated many birthdays & anniversaries in their first class restaurant in a strip mall.
Celebrating Bastille Day was always a hoot!

I was so saddened to learn of Annelise's passing...while I knew her just through our circle of friends and the restaurant, like many others I will remember her welcoming smile and lively spirit as an integral part of those times--the pictures here are a sweet reminder. Sharing the sorrow of all her close ones and always remembering her fondly with you. Sending peace and comfort, LMF
Wow, it has already been over a year now. I hope you're having a "Happy Heavenly Birthday" Lisa. I will always cherish the memories and have stories to tell my own grandchildren when they old enough to start working, that an airport career was the best times ever! XOXO Mare Leuer
