Mom, you will always be in my heart forever...I miss you everyday and my life will never be the same without you. I love you always...rest in peace
(Vermont)Mom, you will be missed by all who knew you. Thank you for being such a good mom and taking me into your heart after my mom passed. I will always think of you as my Vermont Mom even though you are in my heart everywhere I go. Talking to you and hearing your stories always seemed to help me stay connected to my own Mom. Thank you for being such a special person. I love you. RIP
I always remember Aunt Angie giving Davey, Robert & me ice cream & cookies too when we'd visit!
Peggy and I knew Angie since our high school days at McClymond’s in Oakland. Angie and Peggy both worked on the yearbook “Afterglow” staff. Many years later, in retirement, we met up with Angie and Gil, attending dances together at the Mr. and Mrs. Club at Southland Mall and the Five Spot Club in Castro Valley. We invited Angie and Gil to go with us to the Oakland Downtown Senior Center dances. There they used the old-fashioned dance cards, which was a list of dances in order, so you knew what was coming up. Angie and I from then on called each other “Number 6”, because we always danced #6 – the waltz, together. Angie and Gil were wonderful people and friends of ours. I am so glad we got to know them and call them our friends for so long. I will miss them both very much.
Fondly, Norman
