This memorial website was created in the memory of our dear mother, Amy Tuff, 92, born on November 19th, 1927 and passed away on August 10th, 2020. We will remember her forever.
I have been friends with Peter and Naomi since college, and just this past February, I finally got a chance to meet the amazing woman who raised them, as well as their lovely sister Ruth. This whole family has been an inspiration to me since I was a young man, especially knowing how Ruth raised five amazing kids after tragically losing her husband as a young mother.
I have had the great pleasure of knowing Amy since moving to Portland some 5 years ago. Ruth and I have been friends for several decades, and it was her generous and loving spirit that gave both Amy and Ruth to spend Amy's last years together in loving harmony. We loved Amy's wry sense of humor, her bright eyes, and her abiding faith. She was a joy and we miss her!!!
Just to be clear, I meant Amy raised five kids, not Ruth.
It's been five years Mom. Thanks for all we shared together. Love you and miss you <3
