To a sister whose heart was so big that it couldn't keep beating...she was drawn to people and animals who needed rescuing. She was a giver at all costs. So much good yet to do, but now we will just remember her and feel relief knowing she finally came into the life for which she'd been looking for so many years. Love to Amy, my beautiful angel sister. I hope the colors are beautiful.
I thought my love for dogs was immense until I met Amy and saw the true passion she had for taking care of animals and people. She was never afraid to get down and dirty and could fix/build pretty much anything from leaky sinks to huge playhouses. Her creative and compassionate spirit will be missed by many!
Amy was a fascinating study in extremes. An artist and an architect - a limitless giver reluctant to receive. Since she passed, Billy Joel's "I go to Extremes" has been playing in my head every time I'm reminded of her..... "and if I stand or I fall, it's all or nothing at all - Darling I don't know why I go to extremes." The next time you hear that song I hope you think of Amy!
