You were the only grandfather I ever had, and the kindest and sweetest man I know. I love you so much and I will miss visiting you and Granny and catching up on the books you were reading, weekend trips you were taking, the shows you were watching and hearing you yell at the tv news. I'm so glad I got to spend the time I did with you.You loved all of us so much. You will be forever missed.

The most important things to Daddy were his family and his faith. I will miss you more than I can say, but I know you are with Momma and Granny. Your life was an example to me of a loving father who was never afraid to show your emotions, a supportive father who was always there to cheer us all on, and a Christian in the best sense of the word. Heaven is now full of your happiness!

I’m so thankful for all the memories. Going to DC on the train is my favorite. You have such an amazing soul that will live in my heart forever.  I’m so glad you and granny are together now. I’ll miss your silly giggle always.
