Alice was a profound influence on my youth.  We played together, got in trouble together, fought, made up, and were more than just neighbors.  Although our lives went in different directions, we stayed in touch over the years, and she continued to be a good friend.  I will miss her.  My sincere sympathies and love to Pete, Theresa, Wendy, and Sandra Melhbrech, who was always there for them
