I am writing to offer my condolences to your family.  Death is so unnatural.  God has given us a hope.  It's found in the Bible at  Isaiah 25:8,9 where it partially says  "He will actually swallow up death forever..." I was so surprised to hear this news, I spoke with Alice on the phone last week and we had a wonderful conversation about Kerhonkson history! She kindly offered to add me to the Historic Friends newsletter and invited me to call again. She was so vibrant and engaging, I wish I could have met her in person.  Sincere condolences to Alice’s family and friends.
