Big Al as he liked to be called in my Freshman advanced math class was a great teacher. I still use some of the  names he applied to solving math problems in my Economics classes at SJSU.   He game me my nickname, Meansbomber, which my friends still call me today.  I worked one summer with him at Northgate summer school and played a lot of ping pong with him.   Will always remember him.

Al and Mary Jane were very dear to me. We worked together for many years at their school. Al and I had some great conversations in the early mornings before school started. Al was usually watering something! He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. My heart goes out to their daughters, Janice & Stephanie.

Mr. Huff was my calculus teacher at Concord High School in 1990-1991. I will always remember his kindness, sense of humor, and ability to teach advanced math in remarkable simple ways. You will be missed by so many, Dr. Huff!
