RIP and sincere condolences to the family.  My wife and I purchased our first house with Mr. DeJarnette's help in the early 70's.  He spent time counseling us at the Virginia Trust location on West Broad at Malvern Avenue, helped us with the loan application, and opening a bank account.  He was so helpful.

I had the privilege of working with Al at Sovereign and then NationsBank. He was such a gentleman and such a kind person. I think of him fondly. My condolences to his family. I am sure he will be missed.
