I am so sorry to hear about Alan. The kindness and hospitality the Mayer family has shown me since Chris and I were in college together has always been one of my fondest memories. Alan's support of me during my career at VA DARS was so appreciated as was his patience with me  when I knocked over your mailbox one summer!  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
