I knew Abe only as a volunteer in Brookline Politics. He was modest yet firm in his progressive politics. Good to work with, Thoughtful, cooperative. He and Susan graciously hosted many meetings. I wish they were still here! They both contributed much to Brookline and to peace and justice politics in Massachusetts.

Chip & Sue were Brookline PAX Board (which I chair) stalwarts, icons for what's best about PAX, role models of passionate, opinionated, very thoughtful progressives who never got personal or disrespectful to people who disagreed. Both of them evoke to me the memory of our beloved Frank Farlow, whom nobody (even Brookline's most _____) disliked. Brookliners are mourning, wishing Sue well.
