Dr. Jeffko served Fitchburg State University for 50 years, he was a kind and caring member of the community. He was a dedicated professor to all of the students he taught. Thank you for all you did Dr. Jeffko. We send our sympathies and prayers to his family and friends.

Walter was a wonderful colleague who kindly mentored me as a new faculty member 18 years ago. We were in different departments but served on governance committees together. He always made time for anyone in need of guidance, whether they were a student or a colleague. His dedication and passion will be missed. Sending love and prayers to all who knew him.
