There was so much to write about Terri I had to switch to the Stories section. My deepest care and sympathy to Candace, the family and all Terri's friends. She was an extraordinary woman and touch so many lives. The wisdom, love, humor, and deep kindness that she imparted to each of us will carry foward as her legacy. And her pool greetings will be taken up as a torch by others.

It was such a pleasure to work with Terri! when we both were SR Employment and Training Spec at the Capitola Office.  Such a kind and caring person.  I have wonderful memories of her.  She will be dearly missed!  My deepest condolences to Candice and the family!

Terry was one of the first people I met when I started my county career.  She always kept me on my toes.  I’ll remember her as a funny, intelligent, huge-hearted soul who walked and swam her own unique path, with a smile and giggle impossible not to reciprocate.

I met Terri in high school, she was a bright flame in a community that at the time felt foreign to us both. We would listen to music for hours, in particular Tapestry and Veedom Fleece, thinking we were the only ones that understood the nuisances of the lyrics lol. From 18-21 we grew up together, laughing, exploring life and loving. Her loss is greatly felt!!

The Stories Tab more fully expresses my sentiments. Here, I will just say thank you Terri for helping me and so many others open our hearts, see from a deeper knowing and find bravery to stand for what we believe. The gift of your life is felt and appreciated daily by me and all those fortunate enough to have engaged your huge capacity to embrace and love others, and allow them to unfold.

Terri was always an inspiration. When Susan Boes and I introduced collage as a Career Exploration tool and Visual Resume, some of our co-workers were a bit skeptical, but Terri understood exactly what we were trying to do. She will be missed.

In November 1968 my family moved from New Mexico to Hampton, Va and into a house that was directly across the street from the German family. Terri and I became very close friends sharing music and similar sense of humor. We were 13 and ready to explore the world. She was thoughtful, funny, sensitive and sensible. A great friend to have during our formative years. Godspeed my dear Theresa!
