Rory, you were a kind and intelligent guy. I'm sorry we lost you so soon. Hope you've found your peace.

Gone too soon. Rory, you were one of the kindest souls I knew. Rest in peace, friend

I met Rory software year at Milton High, in the beginning of the year. He hit it off great with my friends and I … and the rest, as they say is history….

He has been a part of my life for 30 years, and he is a legend in some circles. “Red” “Ro” Man of many names. Many talents.  A key player in all of my high school journals, as he was my on and off boyfriend all through high school.

A couple times When I was really sick, in our 20’s, Rory made sure I was okay. Kept checking on me throughout the night.

Rory kept me away from a lot of trouble. I didn’t realize that, and a lot of other things about about Rory, until later in life and even more after he passed.

He was an original . A nonconformist. An introvert. Not worried about the opinions of others.
He was kind.
He was quiet, didn’t need so many words like so many of us do, to get his point across.
He was open minded and didn’t have a bigoted bone in his body. He was incredibly intelligent, always wise beyond his years.

Over the 30 years we never stayed out of contact for very long.

I am glad he is no longer suffering, and I imagine him with Nico making his gourmet dinners (and taking a picture of it, of course) he would show me these pictures, and I would think that it was Rorys meal, but it was Nicos. He really loved her.

I imagine him and Kyle V, Mike K, and everyone we’ve lost,  together again , as I believe we all will be eventually.

May he rest peacefully, until next time.

Rory we met cause your dad was our soccer coach for the Milton Sharks back when we were ten... then we got back in touch in high school and bonded over skateboarding and graffiti.  You taught me so much about skating and life and we shared so many fun times and laughs together.  I will never forget jumping on a bus with you at 4am and waking up in NYC. You had boundless artistic ability
