Bert was my big brother’s big brother. They both had infectious smiles and life-affirming personalities.  If there is a waiting line of loved ones in the next life, I’m sure Jimmy will be among them to say “Welcome home, I’ve got 12 years of good times to share with you.”  Cousin Rich

Growing up in the smallest of small towns in Western Pennsylvania, my entertainment was watching my older brothers and cousins in their early adventures, through young adulthood as they became their more determined and directed selves.  It’s great to know that Bert carried his enjoyment of life throughout his life, something to emulate:)  Cousin Barbara

My sympathies to brothers Larry & Joe, sister Kathy, his children & grandchildren.  Bert will be missed by all.  He took the time to check in with me regularly, always with a Vegas story to share, enthusiastic about his kids and grandkids and his garden.
