I'm saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was a kind and gentle man.  Bob graciously served as my campaign treasurer during my service on the Sunnyvale City Council. He was a wise and thoughtful counselor to me, and many others in our community.  He indeed was a gifted individual who made others' lives better.  My deepest sympathy to Margaret and his entire family. Godspeed my friend.

Dearest family of Bob
Even though we hadn’t had contact in years, I will always remember my parents’ dear friends, Bob and Margaret. There were dinners, lively political debate and everything done in a spirit of great friendship lasting decades. My condolences to his family and a glass of red wine in celebration of a life well lived.

I am so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. Even in his later years Bob was steadfast in seeking to contribute to the community and would try to bring a smile to others with his kidding around. My condolences to Margaret and family.

Wow, you know how you don't see someone for a long time, but then you find a memorial and it hits you hard.  Bob was a wonderful man.  He served with me on the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce board for years.  He had a quick wit, was friendly as they come, and always participated.  He was one of the guys I knew would be there if we needed him no matter what.  Condolences to Bob's family.
