My sincerest and deepest heartfelt condolences to Rick’s family .  I met Rick at Gansett in 1970 and we quickly developed a wonderful friendship . Condolences to Family and friends. Very saddened to hear of Rick's passing. So many great High School memories. Reading his bio I was not surprised by his accomplishments. Especially teaching. We used to play chess constantly. Loved our banter our competitive personalities were what we both needed. Our Gansett class was an awesome group. Rick was a key example of how serious effort pays.
