I am writing for my family who lived across the street from Richrd and Lucille in 1964. My parents(Dave and Joanne Funderburg) were close friends for a time and their children were our playmates when I (Rhonda)was 6 years old, my brother, Kevin, 2. My mother (Joanne) lives in Clovis and I live in Carmel Valley.
My parents have wonderful memories of Richard.

Richard and I were the godfather and godmother appointed by our darling friend, Laura.  I'm sure the two of you will be laughing your backsides off and sharing all the old stories.  I didn't know him well, although I have known him for a long time, but he was always the comforting, supportive person you could talk to and be totally upfront with.  Rest in peace special man.
