I was saddened to hear of your loss of Misao, but happy to find this tribute. I have a wood carving done by N. Niizawa in 1945 in Granada, CO, and am trying to find and return it to the artist's family. It has Japanese writing on the back. I can send pictures if you think it might be your family.
