To Bill’s family: I knew your father for over 25 years when we worked closely in the VA on a project that helped change veterans’ care. He was a dedicated, compassionate man that few could emulate. I miss him and send you my heartfelt condolences.
Bill Mark was one of the most giving & caring people I have ever encountered. He would go to the ends of the Earth for everyone...Veterans, colleagues, friends & strangers alike. His love and concern for his fellow Veterans was enormous! I thought he had rebounded from one of many Heath issues he battled and, I guess I thought he would just be here forever. My ?? goes out to his family
Bill thanks for all the help. you helped so many here at the VA. God Speed.
Bill,
Thank you for all the help you have given me and my fellow Nam vets. With out you many of us would not be here today. You will never be forgotten.
Bill, today they passed the Burn Pit bill; I could only think of our Vietnam vets at the Bedford VA. My 1.5 year internship with you in 1999-2000 was the path of my life. You saw the way ahead and who I could be. I finished the Harvard m Div, went on to be a hospice chaplain, and now I am writing poetry. Today the poem was of course about all I learned from you, will post Stories. Connie
