I remember so many incredible things about Will. He was so wonderful and playful with all of my children. He loved to laugh and we loved going to the comedy competition at the Crow’s Nest every year and sitting in the front row! Will and the Forest family took my baby girl skiing when she hadn’t experienced snow. Always up for a game night or a laugh. I am so grateful to have known Will.

It was wonderful to read this obituary and remember Will's incredible contributions. Yet in the face of his brilliance and dedication to society, I remember him most as a rock solid partner and devoted family man. I appreciated how Catherine could always count on his steady nature and loving warmth, and how kind his presence was in any space that we shared - his goodness was unmistakable!

When Will came to each of Kelsey's College Pathfinders appointments, he managed to be serious while keeping us laughing! I found him to be one of the best fathers I encountered.

The tribute was amazing. I had the great opportunity to work with Will for a bunch of years. I am the tech geek and Will was the total geek. We had a great friendship. We could talk about anything, and everything. Will made us all better, and smarter, and funnier

What a beautiful tribute to Will.  Each time I read it, I realize something deeper about his remarkable life and the numerous contributions and achievements he made to help people and the planet.  I am grateful to have the honor of being his sister-in-law and will forever cherish the numerous family memories created, over many decades. My partner and I were lucky enough to stay with Cat and Will on our pass through Santa Cruz. Grateful for the time and knowledge Will gave us on the short few days we spent with them. I will remember our tour through the redwoods and the information you passed on.

Will was deeply kind, sparkling, considerate, forgiving, and patient.  He was an old soul who thought about whatever was said to him and he cared about who said it.  Will continues to warm a soothing place in my heart. I trust he can read what is being said about him.
