Stella G. Painter, known to her grandchildren as "Grandma Jane" was a true pioneer and courageous woman. She persevered through many heartaches and hard times. Never one to sit down and give up, she always found a way to rise above those difficulties. She passed those qualities on to her daughters, and they along to theirs. I was blessed to be one of those granddaughters.
