Ross was a wonderful man whom I am so grateful to have known and was able to call a friend.
He changed the course of my life. It was "The Heat is On" that focused my attention on the urgency of climate change. I first met Ross in 1998, and considered him a mentor in launching my 25 year teaching career on climate change. I will miss you forever. God speed, dear Ross.
While researching his books on climate change, Ross interviewed the CEO of a major fossil fuel company.
We know that climate change is real, the CEO told Ross. But if I say that, I will be fired and nothing will change.
"Can I quote you?" asked Ross. The CEO replied: "This interview never happened."
