Richard enjoyed boating, and at that time we had a boat as well.  On our return from a trip to the Vineyard together, their boat had mechanical problems and we were towing them  to Falmouth;  Richard &  Elka remained in their boat.  Were they stressed? Anxious? No!! They were dancing!  They loved life, and were able to laugh & dance even in times of challenges!  He lived life large!

My condolences to the family. I knew Richard for many years booking transportation services for him. Richard was a kind and beautiful person. I will miss talking to you.
