Very sad to discover that Dick Calvert passed away.  I was based with him in Navy Ferry Squadron VRF-32 at San Diego in the early '60's and saw him a few times after he transferred to Japan.. I lost track of him after he left Japan in the late '60's or early '70's and have wondered about him ever since. He was one of the best pilots and greatest human beings I have ever met.
