Penny has been my friend, neighbor, and sometimes counselor for 46 years. She loved life, people, and books. She was thoughtful, generous, selfless, and optimistic. She was an intellectual who had opinions, and she didn't mind sharing them. Thank you Penny for all that you gave, in wisdom, in talent, and in treasure. We shall miss you.
