My thoughts and prayer are with everyone in Lee’s family especially Bonnie & Rachel, a dear friend from Cal State University, Long Beach.
The overwhelm of sadness to Lee’s passing can’t ever be easy. The funniest Dad,I was lucky to have met. Committed to his 3 kids & extraordinary wife Bonnie, a true giving & loving family !

Dr. Stone was our children’s pediatrician and became our friend. You could always count on Dr. Stone to be professional, caring, practical, loving and a an expert in care of Children. We shared VHS tapes of the PBS series, The Citadel, that my husband recorded with Dr. Stone and his wife. Thank you Dr. Lee Stone fore a life well lived! Mary & Rich Kyles + children, Joshua & Megan
Dr. Stone was my pediatrician when I was growing up. He saved my life one time when I went into anaphylactic shock. I will never forget his thorough care, his smile, his energy and all those news articles taped to the exam room walls and cabinets. He will never be forgotten.
Had been thinking about old times, old Chicago friends and searched for Lee only to find that he passed a few years ago. It's been more than 20 years since I visited Lee and Bonnie in San Jose. Lee and I were preteen friends in Chicago so many years ago and the three of us undergrads at UI. My best to Bonnie; Lee was a wonderful friend and loving father; I fondly remember my last visit.
