Mikel was my friend and sweet confidant. He also did my hair at Faux for many years. Going to see Mikel was always an adventure and always fun. I moved from San Jose in 2002 and lost track of him. I am just now learning of his passing and I'm so sad. A great light was extinguished from the world. Rest in peace, Mikel.. you always made me laugh.
