I have herd that through Mr. Jones work, Google Earth exists today with all its high-definition photos and mapping around the world. I live in a place with a high cost of living, so I haven't been able to travel the world- until now. By using Google Earth (thanks to Mr. Jones, I can travel the streets of Indonesia on a weekend at the computer, see their unique lifestyles in picture. Thanks

I am shocked to have just learned about the death of Michael Jones. I had the good fortune to collaborate with him several times between 1995 and 2010. He was always a font of knowledge and a nurturing mentor. You could always count on him to be there for you. I will dearly miss his friendship and support.
He contributed a lot to humanity, he did an excellent job throughout his life. Thank you for having left a great legacy, truly a golden generation that the world is slowly losing. God bless and rest in peace.

Muito obrigado pelos seu conhecimentos na área de informática em especial ao programa GOOGL EARTH , antes mesmo dos GPS nos smartphones eu já usava o programa de mapas em questão e me ajudava muito a localizar endereços, porque eu sou ruim de localização. Hoje mesmo acessei a cidade de CAMPO GRANDE no Brasil e já visualizei uma rota e vai me ajuda muito a chegar ao destino. Obrigado.
I opened Google Earth again today, as I’ve done many times before, and once again it helped me far beyond what I expected. Then I wondered, who created this? I looked it up and learned about his life—and his passing. I was deeply moved. For such people and the parents who support them, I sincerely wish eternal peace.
