Mikey was one of my best friends and I am still in shock that he has passed. I met Mike through Russell Backer back in 1981 and he was truly one of the smartest, kindest, most interesting and generous people I have ever met. I have many stories and pictures. I hope we have a real life gathering to celebrate him when Kurt is ready!

Mike was a member of our family who will be missed by us, by our children and by our grandchildren as well.   His cherished kindness and consideration and his intelligence and wisdom have left a void in our lives.

Michael was a dear, special man and his friendship over 50 years was such a gift to Ron and me, and subsequently to our family. Our travels and times together were constantly enriched by his generosity, his thoughtfulness, and the unique ways he looked at life. His loss leaves a huge hole in our hearts , while his smile is forever imprinted in my mind.

Michael was our landlord for our first 2 years in Boston and one of the first people our family met in the city. He was a very generous person and it was always such a pleasure to cross him on the stairs, have a little chat and hear his contagious laugh. We will always remember his kindness, generosity and winter hats!
May he rest in peace. Andrea, Christine & Lenny

Michael was my landlord from 1987 to 1990 during my college years and remained a true friend ever since. Today, as I bid farewell, I find solace in knowing his spirit will endure through the memories I hold and in the hearts of his loved ones. My heartfelt condolences go out to Kurt, Michael’s family, and all fortunate enough to have called Michael their friend. Rest in peace, Michael. XO

I first met Michael while at his first year at Tufts.  He had his fingers in my mouth. We soon became friends, and had many escapades together in Boston.  In 1990 we formed a joint venture in real estate that survives to this day. Peace Michael.

Michael and I met on an Arizona River rafting trip some thirty years ago as professional colleagues. We have been fast friends ever since, keeping in contact regularly . Michael came to visit us this May . We are very saddened and sorely miss him and extend our condolences to Kurt and all of Michael’s friends.

I was a patient of Michael many years.  He and I had a great relationship swapping witticisms with one another, talking about dentrisry and friends we had.  He was always in good humor and brightened my day.  He was a friend who shared lunches with me.  I will miss him sorely.
