We used to walk the Rec Trail together back in the 1990’s, when Marge was at the DLI. What a compassionate and creative woman. She made the world a better place by her presence. Linda Frederiksen
I had the privilege of knowing Marge through singing, first in a women’s barbershop group, then in a barbershop quartet with Laura. Our quartet name was the Sweet Tomatas and we had so much fun rehearsing and performing in the community. I admired so many things about Marge. She was a strong, independent woman who instilled her love of music in her children. What a wonderful gift that was!
I met Marge in 1964-5 and as a new mom she was there for me daily. Our lives changed and neither of us had the time to hang out, but kept in contact for quite a while after. My heart goes out to Elaine, Julie, Aron, Laura, Susie and Greg. You are in my prayers, where your Mom has been since forever. I will never forget her and know she is at peace.
I am so sorry to learn of her loss. I enjoyed growing up around Marge, and being with Laura, Susie, and Greg aka Pookie. Marge was such an amazing lady and mentor. I was just remembering her last week. Sending my love and condolences to the family.
Singing together! (MPCS, Bay Belles... SWEET TOMATAS!) Worked hard, laughed a lot. Volunteering, too - Dixieland Festival, Bach Festival... A memorable trip to Oregon in Marge's van. I loved singing with you, Marge, and being your friend. You were an inspiring spirit in my life! A strong, giving, caring woman! Loving prayers and hugs to everyone who is missing you in their lives!
I worked with Marge at the DLIFLC for many years. She was an awesome boss and even better friend. I moved out of the area after I left DLIFLC in 1998 but I have many fond memories of our time together. She was such an awesome person and I miss her. WIsh I had tried to get back in touch sooner!
