What an amazing man he was. He had such a way about him that people were instantly drawn to him. I was blessed to have known him and his amazing family. Sending prayers for healing.

Kirk, you will always hold a cherished place in my heart. The kind demeanor with which he approached all and engaged us enlightened all who came to know him. I will always remember our chats and check-ins, my dear friend and Colleague. Your presence will be missed in the halls of our school.

I am still in disbelief after receiving this news of your passing.  We just had a conversation about how proud you are of your sons and their accomplishments. I am so heartbroken and just remember how kind you are to everyone.  You always had a smile for me and always took time to check in. You will never be forgotten.  I wish your family my sincere condolences.

Kirk, I truly saw joy in your face every day in the halls of Lowell High School. You would always swing by Jen's room to talk to her, and she loved it. We have both said prayers for you and your family and you will be sincerely missed. My heart is broken for your family and I am sending them wishes of peace and healing in this difficult and painful time.

Nick and Family:

I was so sorry to hear of Kirk's passing.  His smile, friendly nature and joy for living reminded me every day of what a joy it is to work at Lowell High School.  He made our community here at Lowell High School special.  He brightened our days. May you be comforted by his memory

Kirk, I just can’t wrap my head around this. You were such a great man. Every time we chatted, whether it was about your family and how proud you were of them, about cars, the beach, and if someone came by you would stop and introduce them every time no matter who it was. When we waited over an hour to pay our respects, it truly showed the impact you had. RIP my friend.
