Death is an enemy as 1 Cor. 15:26 states.  God's word offers comfort in the knowledge that soon He will "wipe every tear from our eyes."  The most loving act imaginable- to have the tears gently wiped from our eyes.  He gives us hope also at John 5:28,29 in a resurrection that will allow us to see our loved ones again.  And soon death will be gone for good as Is. 25:8 tells us.
