I first met 'Dr. Joe' at a Board of Directors meeting in December, 2014.  I remember him particularly for his supportive comments and his unfailing enthusiasm for our visionary biotechnology portfolio. His perpetual optimism and positive attitude were contagious, even during challenging and stressful times. I shall miss him greatly!
