J.R. was my 2nd cousin, the eldest of Evie & Mose Blinkenberg.  I remember he, his lovely wife Sharon and two sons would come to his parents home in Watsonville, CA.  It was always fun meeting up at the Blinkenberg's.
The last time we saw J.R. was at my mother's (Nina Hingtgen) 80th birthday celebration in Carmel, in October 2007.
