John was a friend, a mentor, a role model. He spoke in a straightforward way from his mind and heart. His wisdom was shared with so many. I am lucky to be one of them.

Words cannot express how much Mr. Kaneb meant to my parents and me. As a little girl, I remember playing at their home and running from Duffy, the family black lab. As the years passed, Mr. Kaneb would reach out to me from time to time to check in, and was a great source of comfort when my parents passed. He was such a kind and gentle soul. I will miss you. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Kaneb but I have come to know his Granddaughter Jacqui and his son Steve. They are both wonderful, caring people and I am sure that is a direct reflection of Mr. Kaneb. Peace, love and prayers to all of your family during this difficult time.

I worked with John for 15 years at Northeast Petroleum. He was kind, smart and compassionate. I saw John at various functions over the years, even after leaving the company. He would always pull me aside and ask how I was doing. He would then tell me to call if I ever needed anything. John was a special person. My prayers and sympathy are with his family. Ed Golato
John was one of my favorite leaders in the dairy industry. He always took the time to say hello at events. I once interviewed him on the phone while working from home (this was before the pandemic) and my sons were being loud in the other room. He laughed it off and said he had no problem waiting for me to go set them straight. I found that pause in our conversation to be very kind. RIP
