It was my pleasure to meet Jessie many years ago when we were raising teenagers. She was a selfless a giving woman. She was always helping young ladies to better their lives. Jessie was a remarkable woman. She was beautiful inside and out. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her family. Jessie will be greatly missed.

I never knew where my heart to give came from but it was YOU. you were my mom, my mentor and my friend since the age of 12 when you took me in. you not only took me in your group home you then moved me in your personal home as your foster child. you were loving, smart and kind. Happy Birthday Jessie!  I have been thinking about you all day.  We are going to have lunch tomorrow as a group, in your honor.  We will miss you. Last night I went to bed, thinking about something you said - our work speaks for itself.  Yesterday was a heavy day, I was losing faith.  This morning the first words I heard on TV were - 'He knows your work'.  Thank you Jessie, I needed that.
