SwooG or SWOOGIE, as we called him I believe it started sophomore year in hs,a fierce competitor as a catcher an one of our teams best leaders,a childhood friend of mine an one of the first kids I met moving from Colorado to sc, west lake elementary school where at recess Jeff lost my Aerobie frisbee with a gallant throw from one side of the field all the way to the other over fence.
I'll never forget going to the Swolgaard's to watch SUPER DAVE, an then go right across the street to the Porter's house an play basketball, rolling deep in the Explorer listening to Swog's long variety of GREAT MUSIC,Jeff always had a calm kind demeanor about him as a reflection from his parents Colleen,Gordon an brother Jason, forever u will be missed- your brother BEEF...
Such a kind, gentle, polite, and down-to-earth person. He was my music buddy. We jammed together and performed a few times, and saw great concerts together, from Black Sabbath to Carrie Underwood. He never wanted attention or glory, just to do his part to support others and have a good time. I know his family is warm and wonderful though I never got to meet you all. He was my bro, miss him
