There are many things I could say about my friend Jim, and yes trash talking would be one of them! But he couldn't keep his kindness and caring contained. So long as you were sincere he was there to help. What a hoot, those nicknames he gave everyone what started that?! What I admired most about Jim was the closeness and love he shared with LaRay and Miata, that doesn't go away, ever.
Mr. Holmes was a amazing man. He was never the type to sugar coat anything. He touched a lot of people hearts. He will truly be missed!
I remember Mr. Holmes was a wonderful man; a man of integrity who had a wicked sense of humor. If you weren't laughing, well, it was probably more about you than him. :-) My memories of him always begin with a smile and ends with the warmest of memories. All it took was your being in his presence for a moment to have a lifetime of memories. GOD'S blessings and speed for the family.
LaRay and Miata, Thanks for sharing your Dad with my family. He will always be remembered in our hearts. You are so blessed to call him Dad. We will continue to keep you uplifted in Prayer for comfort.
My friend Jim has departed but always on my mind and heart. We started a tradition of meeting every year for our birthdays with our friend Janielyn Bayona and just celebrated life. He was like a big brother and could share everything with him. He always had a good word of advice that I will never forget. I already miss him.
There are a lot of things that that I can say about Mr. Holmes, but we would have had NO social life if it weren't for the 2 or 3 am pick-ups from Vertigo or the G-spot. He was so fresh, or one cool cat. I will always admire how he only spoke when he had something to say, beautiful quality in a man and priceless quality in a Dad, (because believe me we gave him plenty of opportunities)
