Oh how I remember that sweet smile and gracious lady. I grew up in the next block down on Watt Lane and spent a lot of time at the Wood home.  I was an only child and enjoyed the busyness of families like the Wood family.  They were so kind to me and Gary was one of my best friends.  This lady and her family loved me like I was one of their own.  God bless all of you.   Rev. Mrs. Wood  was a great friend to me I cut her grass for many  years she always loved to talk after I finished anytime she needed any thing I told her to call whether it was snowing or raining . Was thinking about her just yesterday wondering how she was doing .She has finally  attained what she talked about with me many times her place in heaven . Her family will be in my prayers.

I'm saddened to hear of Irene's passing but I know she is rejoicing in heaven. She was always so kind to me and I will dearly miss seeing her at church.
