I grew to know Howard and his family through my work.  His unstoppable earnest fight for what he felt was right was marked so cleverly with his keen wit and even more moving his tremendous kindness. He always kept me smiling while teaching me about current events.  It is with great sadness that I say good-bye to Howard. His memory is most surely a blessing for me and many others.
