I am writing to offer my condolences to your family.  Death isn't anything that God intended for us. I have found this Scripture to be of comfort to me.  Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
