Mr. Basham was my teacher in 6th grade. I credit him with being the best teacher I ever had. We were fellow West Virginians. He created an interest in learning that has remained with me always. My prayers to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Leroy's passing.  I met him 37 years ago when my husband and I bought his grandmother's house.  I considered him a good friend.  He had a good heart.  May his soul rest in peace.
