With heavy hearts we said goodbye to my Dad at 88 years young. After 20+ years in Florida, I moved back to NY last December to spend as much time as I could with him. We had some good days and tough ones these past 4 months, but we know he is in a better place now and resting easy. I'm sure he's riding his motorcycle and stopping off somewhere for some coffee ice cream. Love you Dad, see you on the other side
I was blessed to have had Fred as an on-line friend for over 20 years... he was such a gentle man and always a gentleman, admired by who all who knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he never lost that. I know he will be missed and remembered by all who knew him as a wonderful friend, neighbor, father, grandfather and husband. Gone, but not forgotten, rest in peace my friend.
He will be missed..gave us so many smiles as we chatted..farewell friend!
I was so sad to hear of the passing of Fred Wilkes, Jr. one of my greatest, dearest and longest lasting friends since I have been chatting on-line. I first knew him as Son of Dracula and called him Drac. He was one of the most talented “siggie-makers” that I have ever known. He was kind enough to make me several sigggies which I love, just to be a nice guy, I noticed that he seemed to have begun to slow down a little bit over the last few years, but I had no idea that he was leaving us. Drac, I love you and admire you, and I hope that you rest In Peace.

“I will miss Fred, as a dear online friend for many, many years.
Fred was so helpful to me when I began learning to make animated tags to use online in e-mails or in posting online. He took me step by step with a program and was such a sweet man.
Although, he was first known to me by the nickname, "Son of Dracula", nothing could be further than the truth than this nickname he chose...he was a good-hearted man and very witty.
Fred will be missed by many and leaves behind wonderful memories!”
