Memorial Tributes
My daughter and I had the pleasure of meeting Karen and Ed at a Katzenstein post-lecture dinner some years ago. Ed's enthusiasm in explaining laser cooling and Microchip based coding was unforgettable. Months later, I was cross country skiing in NH and wondering about an expert trail, I asked some folks who skied up if it was a good way to go. It turned out to be Ed, who said "follow me"!
